The hands of the statue are extended to convey the feeling a calling the viewer
as a symbol to “come to Christ." The right hand is extended to represent
reaching out to the viewer to come and accept Christ. The left hand is holding
a cross of the rosary in a pose that represents offering the cross to the
viewer. A rosary is around the neck and extends from the chest to the hand
where the cross is offered to the viewer.
